The Global Leadership Awards Gala is the most important fundraising event of the year of the International Student House of Washington, DC. It is a celebration of international exchange, peace and understanding. Your generosity allows us to empower the next generation of global leaders through a unique residential experience that instills global competencies and community values. For more than 85 years, 15,000+ international scholars representing over 140 countries, including the U.S., have called “the House” their home while in Washington, DC.
The mission of the International Student House of Washington, DC, a nonprofit in the heart of Washington, DC, is to foster intercultural dialogue, life-long connections, and global citizenship by providing an exceptional residential experience to a highly diverse international community of graduate students, interns, visiting scholars, and young professionals.
International Student House of Washington, DC is a private, nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. Proceeds from this year’s event will help support our mission, including programs and operations.
